Main bio
I'm Reet, a product designer currently working on ads at Nextdoor. I grew up in India, started out in industrial design at NIFT, then found my way into UX through a master's at the University of Michigan, and I've been designing everything from mobile games to B2B SaaS ever since.

What dive into my work
Timeline

Nextdoor
Design advertiser-facing ad formats and flows for the Ads team, including AI-assisted ad creation tools and a redesign of business account access, billing, and invoicing. Partner closely with UXR on lead-gen flow work and shipped three projects in my first month on the team.

Microsoft AI
Led IA and navigation redesign for a B2B advertising SaaS platform in the Fluent Design System, cutting time-to-task by 66% across six usability tests. Also designed agentic publisher experiences for Dotdash Meredith brands like Investopedia, building the research interview guide with UXR for the roadmap work.
May 2025 - Aug 2025

Jetapult
Designed the evidence management flow for a case investigation product, including a dark-themed swimlane flowchart, and built out design system components for it. Worked hands-on in code, using Claude Code and Cursor to build AI-assisted coded prototypes.
Mar 2024 - June 2024

Gameberry Labs
Designed social features, onboarding, VIP tiers, and rewarded ad systems for mobile games, with Streak Stars driving around $140k a year in revenue. Built a strong foundation in habit-forming loops and gamification over nearly two years in games.

how i work
Using AI in my process
AI speeds up how I work, but it doesn't make the calls. I lean on it to move faster through exploration and prototyping, sometimes even in code, but every decision that actually matters still goes through my own judgment.

how I think about agentic design
Transparency in AI- human interfaces
That same idea shapes how I design AI into products for other people. A human-AI interface should never feel like a black box. Whatever the system is doing, the user should be able to see it, and there should always be a way for them to step in and take control.
Data driven design decisions
None of this works without data. Could be user research, could be analytics, but I want every decision to trace back to something real that a person said or did, not just a guess.
